Privacy policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Last updated: 28 February 2026
Grove Foundry (ABN 60 179 809 683) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:
- Submit a contact form on our website
- Send us an email
- Engage us for services
This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any details you share about your project or business.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Provide the services you have engaged us for
- Send relevant follow-up communication about your project
We do not use your personal information for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly opted in. We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Contact form processing
Our contact form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form handling service. When you submit the contact form, your data is sent to Formspree's servers and forwarded to us via email. Formspree's privacy policy governs how they handle data in transit. We chose Formspree because they do not store form submissions beyond the delivery period and do not use your data for any other purpose.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics data is routed through a first-party subdomain (data.grovefoundry.com.au), powered by Stape, before being forwarded to Google Analytics. This means your browser communicates with our own domain rather than directly with Google's servers.
Cookies we set
Our server-side analytics infrastructure sets a first-party cookie called FPID (first-party identifier). This cookie contains a randomly generated ID used to recognise returning visitors across sessions. It has a lifespan of up to two years and is set by our server, not by a third-party script. No personal information is stored in the cookie itself.
Data collected automatically
When you visit this site, the following information is collected or inferred server-side to help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site:
- Pages visited and interactions with the site
- Approximate geographic location (country, state, city) - inferred from your IP address
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Browser name, version, and operating system
- Referral source (how you arrived at the site)
This data is used solely to improve our website and services. It is not used for advertising, remarketing, or profiling, and is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) also collects basic server logs such as IP addresses and page requests for security and performance purposes. This is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Data storage and security
We store personal information securely and take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Information received via email or form submissions is stored in secure, access-controlled systems.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your information
